Upto 20 new jobs with 24-hour opening permission for Spalding McDonald’s

Up to 20 new jobs will be created under a 24-hour opening plan at McDonald’s, Spalding.

The firm has asked South Holland District Council for confirmation its plan to open round-the-clock is lawful under its current planning permission, as previously reported in The Voice.

A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “We can confirm that we have applied for a premises licence to enable our Spalding restaurant to operate 24/7.
“If successful, this would create up to 20 additional jobs, and allow us to provide a convenient choice for customers increasingly living outside of the nine-to-five routine.
“We will continue to work closely with the local council through this process and our priority remains to be a good and responsible neighbour.”

The Holbeach Road restaurant and drive-thru currently opens 5am to midnight.
