Unique opportunity to join covers band

A rare and unique opportunity to join one of the country’s favourite covers bands is about to become available.
Lead guitarist Phil Wright has decided to hang his guitar up for the last time with Zebra.
And the Spalding-based group is now looking for someone to join the band when Phil retires in January.
Phil said: “It’s been an honour and a privilege to play with Zebra.
“It’s a band with real heritage and heart.”
Phil joined the group after keyboard player Mark Le Sage reformed the band in 1991 for one gig at The Red Lion, Spalding.
Mark commented: “We are looking for someone old enough to remember the songs the band cover, but young enough to be able to help load the gear into the van.
“It’s about personality and fitting in with the band, but obviously being able to play the solo from Sweet Child Of Mine would be an advantage.”
For audition details please call 07961 521727.
Phil’s last gig with the band will be when they perform at The Granary, Long Sutton, on January 28.
