A special event to crown Spalding’s Flower Parade Ambassador is to take place next month.
The South Holland Centre will see which of the ten final nominees lands the top position for the event on Saturday, May 13.
Before that though, the person who will be the Ambassador for the parade and sit atop one of the main floats need to be chosen.
The final ten are Trinity Barker, Jax Clements, Jessica Forbes, Laura Hudson, Holly Kendrick, Star Perry, Megan Velam, Johanne Seymour, Katie Fitter and Imogen Woolf.
All of them have been featured in The Voice in the last few months.
Joining them will be three youngsters selected to be princesses seven-year-old Ashleigh Appleby-Burtnell, ten-year-old Isla Britchford and six-year-old Bella Britchford.
It will take place at 2.30pm with the Rock School Bus’s Amber Sinclair singing.
Organiser Jan Whitbourn said: “Thank you so much to everyone who has come forward.
“The Ambassador for the Spalding Flower Parade carries on the tradition of Flower Queens that were so important to the event.
“It’s great to bring the spirit of it back for the returning parade.
“All of the candidates are absolutely fantastic and will be brilliant representatives for the Spalding Flower Parade.
“The judges face an incredibly difficult decision but we already know the Ambassador is going to be a fantastic representative for the town.”
