- Ten brave lady members faced the very strong winds and heavy rain head on as they contested Spalding’s Summer Salver on Sunday.
This is a Stableford competition and the weather conditions affected the scores compared the recent competitions – where many handicaps tumbled.
The winner was Chris Leggett with 34, with Tilly Garfoot (32) and Margaret Barkway (31) second and third respectively.
