Title race to the wire

In Division 1 of the Spalding Darts League the title race is going to the wire.

Both Consti A and Tigers C won this week meaning whoever wins their rearranged game next week will win the league.
Tigers C beat Draymans A 5-4. Draymans went 2-1 up but Simon Hill levelled the score for Tigers.
Richard Coopers and Josh Higgins beat Mark Horspool and Kev Aldhous respectively meaning the Draymans went 4-2 up, needing just one win from the final three games.
But Ant Richardson, Duncan Hunt and Steve Dent won the last three for Tigers to take the win. Horspool had a 180 and Richardson checked out on 111.
Consti A also won 5-4 beating Rose and Crown.
Going 2-1 up in the pairs Dan Carnell fought back for Rose and Crown and beat Jason Vines. Carnell fired in a 180 and a 17-dart leg.
Rose and Crown then went ahead with Hank Watson beating Andy Bingham who also hit a 180. Jack Chilvers, of Consti, then levelled, beating Gary Mace who also hit a 180. Sam Roberts beat Ian Lawson to put the Consti 4-3 up. Adam Bourne had different ideas and beat Kieran Bowman to level again but the experienced Nick Moyses held his nerve in a 2-0 win over Adam Godfrey to seal the win for the Consti.
The final game in Division One was a 9-0 romp for Consti E over Punchbowl A.
Punchbowl only won three legs and the singles victories came from Mick Atkin, Jason Chilvers, Calum Ward, Josh Ford, Dan Gent, and Mark Dixon.
Green Dragon A took advantage of other teams losing to seal runners up spot in Division Two. They beat Mail Cart A 6-3.
Dragon started strong going 2-1 up but Jacob Herd levelled for Mail Cart beating Tom Overton, but wins from Tim Hester, Sean Trafford, who had a 17-dart leg, and Jamie Robson then sealed the victory for Dragon.
Josh Faulkner got a consolation win over Callum Day, who hit a 180, and Finn Rodgers beat Paul Faulkner to make the score line 6-3.
Draymans B upset Tigers B, who were also chasing second spot, beating them 7-2. Draymans went 3-0 up in the pairs which made it an uphill battle for Tigers and to make matters worse Sandy Sandison, Shane Thorpe and Wigs Harrison won to make it 6-0.
Tyger Atkin and Richard Brooks won to make the score more presentable. Atkin had an 18-dart leg in his victory.
Champions Abbey Hotel finished the season in fine form, beating Ship Long Sutton 6-3.
After winning all three pairs, wins for Elliot Capper and Dean Parker set up the night for the Abbey. But Ship did win their fair share of singles games thanks to wins for Tom Burton, Zach Chapman, and Tom Semper.
Stan Browing went on last to beat Jake Hinta Penta.
Scott Lawrence hit another 180 to add to his tally and Parker had a fine 17 dart leg in his win.
Consti D celebrated a fine 7-2 victory, sealing the Division Three title beating Punchbowl B.
Consti went 2-1 up in pairs and wins for John Robinson, Steve Emery, Nick Collins, Colin Beckett and Ady Smith were enough to get the points. Smith was player of the night with an 18-dart leg and two 180s.
Holbeach Services sealed runner up spot with a 6-3 win against Green Dragon B. After going 2-1 up in the pairs, wins for Josh Moyses, Chris Chamberlain, Stu Stephens, and Mike Ocock, who hit a 180, got the win.
Athena Overton and Harry Tucker got the singles wins for Dragon.
Mail Cart B ended up two points behind Holbeach.
They beat Lincoln B 5-4, going 2-1 up in the pairs, they had wins from Tracey Baldwin, Carl Kirk and Jonny Pell to seal the win.
Singles winners for Lincoln were John Charlton and Ian Tilley.
Mail Cart captain Kirk hit a 180 and had an 18-dart leg in the pairs with Steve Taylor.
For the Lincoln, captain Charlton had a 17-dart leg.
