Time for fun at bingo event

Whaplode Village Hall is £268 better off thanks to the bingo players that congregate there every month.

The hall was again the setting for Phyllis Newton’s charity bingo session on May 17.

And it was the beneficiary with the hall’s Lee Morris receiving the cheque at the end of the night.

The next event at Whaplode Village Hall is on Friday, June 21. Doors are open at 6.30pm with eyes down at 7pm.

Phyllis said: “All are welcome to attend.”
