Tight finish to great final

There was a fantastic nailbiting final on Sunday for Spalding Town Tennis Club’s annual Chairman’s Cup competition.
In the end Leon Fish and Euan Howell were edged out by winners Martin Perkins and Arvin Secoya.
Philippa Peach won the ladies’ trophy and is pictured (right) with the Chairman Carl Newell.
All members who participated had a fun and competitive morning.
The club are offering a greatly reduced winter membership price of £50, which lasts until April.
