Four were injured and three cut out of a car after it was involved in a collision with a lorry in Saracen’s Head last night.
In total four people were taken to hospital following the incident which occurred just before 10pm last night (Thursday, June 18) on Washway Road.
Fire crews from Spalding, Holbeach and Kirton attended the incident.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to release three male passengers from the car who were left in the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service.
“The crews made the vehicles safe before they left the scene.”
A spokesman for the East Midlands Ambulance Service, said: “We received a call at 9.48pm on 18 June to Washway Road.
“The caller reported that there had been a road traffic collision.
“We sent a LIVES community first responder, a doctor in a car, three paramedics in fast response cars and four crewed ambulances.
“One patient was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, one patient was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital and two patients were taken to Queen Elizabeth King’s Lynn Hospital.”
