The time is meow for top cat show

Feline up for something different this weekend? A huge cat show is heading to Springfields.

The 3rd International Cat Show, hosted by TiCats & Cakes Cat Club, will be coming to Springfields Events Centre on Saturday and Sunday, January 13 and 14.
A spokesman for the event said: “With judges from as far afield as the USA, Sweden and Italy, and over 130 cats from across Europe, this is shaping up to be a fantastic weekend for all cat lovers.
“This year sees the introduction of “The Catgility Project” a fully fledged agility course – just like the dogs do at Crufts, but with cats, what could possibly go wrong??
“With a Meet The Breeds area for visitors to get their hands on a range of all breeds of cats, chat to the breeders and owners and find out what cat would be best for their home.
“We’ll have a varied range of stalls from cat toys to coffee, something for everyone.”
Entries for the cat shows are now closed, but anyone can still go and watch.
Open to the public from 10am to 4pm both days and the show is helping raise awareness and support for the Lincs Ark cat and rabbit rescue centre too.
Entry is £5 per adult, £3 senior citizens and accompanied under 16s are free. Full details at www.ticatsand
