Teens trash town garden

The garden of a Royce Road home has been ransacked by teenagers, with sheds trashed and graffiti painted on walls.

The home’s owner, Joao Jordao, found four teenage boys in the garden on Sunday and filmed them on his phone as they left the scene.

A police spokesman said: “A group of four young men, thought to be about 16-years-old, have damaged a fence panel and made threats.”

Mr Jordao said there has been a spate of damage in the area and has urged residents to contact the police.

Police have asked any witnesses to Sunday’s events to contact the them, quoting incident number 161 of 19/01.
