Teeing off in memory of fellow patron

Regulars at the Drayman’s Arms in Spalding held a charity golf day at Gedney Hill Golf Course in memory of a good friend and pub regular.

A total of 22 friends of Paul Inkley (known as Inky) played in the event in memory of the man who sadly passed away last year.

He was the inspiration for the raising of £1,600 to go towards helping cancer patients at last week’s event.

One of the organisers, Paul Mcallister, said: “The event, which hopefully will be the first of many, was well supported by everyone at the Drayman’s.

“A cheque for the amount raised of £1,600 was presented to Macmillan Cancer Support so thanks to everyone for their support.”
