Swinton Insurance and B&Q help out Spalding Primary School’s pupil gardeners

Spalding Primary School has benefited from a community project by Swinton Insurance.

A company representative joined the Year 6 gardening club to clear the outdoor learning space and make it usable.
And then he teamed up with a representative from B&Q to donate buckets, trowels, spades and gardening gloves for the young gardeners to use to maintain and improve the outdoor learning environment.

The school’s outdoor learning co-ordinator, Daisy Hedaux, said: “We are extremely grateful for this generosity. It will mean that the gardening club will be able to make the changes that they would like to far more easily, and this will in turn influence the outdoor learning experiences of every child throughout the school.

“Thank you very much on behalf of us all here at Spalding Primary School.”
