Spruce-up of Spalding Railway Station continues – can you help?

Volunteers got together on Saturday to start the clean-up of Spalding Railway Station.

Spalding and Peterborough Transport Forum is adopting the station and work has begun to bring it back to its former glory.

Forum chairman George Scott was delighted with the turnout.
He said: “About 20 people came along to help, including staff from Bakkavor who have pledged sponsorship, and I’m really pleased with how much we got done.”

There is another session on Saturday (Oct 1) from 3pm. Anyone who wants to help can just turn up.
The forum is still looking for businesses to help with funding the project. If you can help email [email protected]
