Spalding Water Polo Club boosted by donation from Deeping Round Table

Spalding Water Polo have been given a timely boost thanks to a £350 donation from Deeping Round Table.

Last month the Spalding team welcomed the Deeping tablers for a fun night at the Castle pool, with Simon Bateman and 11 other novices put through their paces by head coach Dave Lord.

The Deeping lads were then thrown in the deep end for an hour of light hearted water polo action against the strong Spalding side.

Following the evening of action, the Deeping tablers gave the club their generous donation during a social at the Moorings pub, which is their regular post water polo haunt.
