Spalding Town stay top of the table despite weekend washout

Spalding Town’s trip to Graves Park on Saturday was among the South Lincs and Border League fixtures rained off on Saturday.

Premier Division table-toppers Town stay three points clear at the summit after all but two of the top tier fixtures were washed out without so much as a ball being bowled.

Both Town and Graves Park picked up eight points as a result.

The same was the case for Long Sutton in the Premier Division, as their trip to Sleaford 2nd bit the dust.
The Division One derby between Spalding Town 2nd and Moulton Harrox was also cancelled, leaving both sides in mid-table.

Completing the South Holland wipeout in Division Two were the cancellations of Spalding 3rd versus Grantham 3rd and Newborough’s game against Long Sutton 2nd.
