Spalding home damaged in fire

Fire crews put out a fire in a Spalding home yesterday (Tuesday, January 26).

Spalding and Holbeach crews were called to the incident in Holyrood Walk at around 4.40pm.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said that a kitchen and conservatory had been damaged as a result of the fire and the remainder of the property had suffered smoke damage.

A spokesperson said: “It was extinguished using one hose reel and two breathing apparatus.”
