Spalding enjoy debut in new format

Spalding emerged victorious in their first game in the ‘555’ format.

It featured a combined team of five colts/younger players, five veterans and five other players, who were up against an established team from neighbours Deepings.
In extremely windy and occasionally wet conditions, the home side emerged winners with two tries from Tom Stevenson and one each from Ronnie Crowfoot and Sam Christie. Callum Ferguson kicked two conversions, with Christie converting his own touchdown.
