Spalding Air Cadets want your memories ahead of anniversary

This year the Air Training Corps celebrates its 80th anniversary and 1406 (Spalding) Squadron is looking to discover more about its history as part of this celebration.

The squadron and staff have a general knowledge of the last 20 years, but they would love to know more.

The squadron is reaching out and hoping to be heard by ex-cadets or anyone with an affiliation who would like to share their stories or memories from when they were involved.

The officer in command Flying Officer Andy Oxby said: “We are very interested in what the Squadron has done in the past and would enjoy building a richer history of our involvement in the local community.

“We are also looking for new people to join our Civilian Committee, if you share similar passions to us we would appreciate having you on board as we get back on our feet.”

If you were involved in the Air Training Corps at some point or are interested in the Civilian Committee, the squadron would like to hear from you.

You can email them at [email protected] or visit their Facebook Page @1406ATC for more information.
