Sm-Ash-ing hat-trick for teenage Holbeach ace Rudd

Holbeach lad Ashley Rudd was in absolutely incredible form at round two of Peterborough Motocross Club’s championship last Sunday.

The teenager, who was representing Team TRM, stormed to three wins from as many races at the Chatteris track to seal overall victory.

Even more impressive was the fact that Rudd led each race from start to finish, grabbing the ‘hole shot’ on every occasion in the schoolboy category.

Meanwhile, Ashley’s younger brother Kieran was also on fine form in the junior section.

He steadily improved during the day, placing third and second before winning his last outing.

That made him second in the overall stakes.

Another TRM ace, Lee Rudd, is in supermoto action up this weekend.

He is competing at the British Supermoto Championship meet up at the Rowrah track in Cumbria.
