Pinchbeck’s promotion bid gathered pace on Saturday as they cruised past rivals Spalding 3rd to go second in South Lincs and Border League Division Two.
Lee Smith scored a half-century as Pinchbeck managed a solid 173 batting first in the Memorial Field clash.
Town were all out for 76 in reply, giving Pinchbeck a hefty 97-run win and 18 match points.
They are now six points clear of third-placed Heckington ahead of Saturday’s home match with runaway league leaders Graves Park (1pm).
Spalding 3rd, who are now fourth, hosts Heckington (also 1pm).
Moulton Harrox were awarded a walkover win in Division One after Timberland conceded their scheduled game.
