Serving a treat up in Holbeach

Foodies and families will be heading to Holbeach for the annual Holbeach Food Festival on Sunday (September 3).

Carter’s Park will be packed with great food and rink, plus entertainment for all ages. Admission is free from 10am to 4pm.
The wide range of food available will include authentic Mexican, Indian, Caribbean, falafels, hog roast, award- winning pies, artisan burgers, smoked meats, Lincolnshire hot dogs, loaded fries and much more, plus plenty of vegan and vegetarian options too.
Sweet-toothed visitors will enjoy ice cream, waffles, doughnuts, milkshakes, crepes, candy floss, handmade chocolate plus a huge selection of cookies and cakes.
Young visitors can even take part in free cookie decorating sessions hosted by Cook Stars South Lincs (providers of local cooking classes and workshops for children).
There will also be bouncy castles and face painting to entertain youngsters.
Holbeach Mobile Bars are providing a fully licensed bar in a beach-themed beer garden with live music.
The ever-popular Holbeach Town Band will also be performing.
Royals Gym of Holbeach are once again hosting their annual Lincolnshire’s Strongest contest at the event, featuring athletes competing in a range of gruelling events, cheered on by the crowds.
Trade stands will be selling a wide range of food and drinks to take home, plus a variety of crafts.
