Second Spalding Hockey Club ball cements stunning season

Spalding Hockey Club continue to go from strength to strength both on and off the field.

Last season proved the club’s most successful season on the field, with both the men’s and ladies’ top teams being promoted as champions to a level they have not previously played at before.

Off the field, the club’s inaugural ball of last season was followed by another spectacular event – and being sponsored by Homebase and Komodo Fireworks Ltd, it certainly went with a bang.

Held at the South Holland Centre, a three-course carvery meal was followed by live music and a disco supplied by the ever popular and irrepressible Zebra.

Over 130 guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves – and in the process generated some much needed funds for their club coffers.

With junior coaching (Saturday mornings) and summer sixes (Wednesday evenings) well under way, teams partaking in the Mixed Summer League (Tuesday evenings) and a home tournament to look forward to on the weekend of August 8 and 9, there is always something to look forward to at Spalding Hockey Club.
