Search for woman in 30s after reports of person entering the sea at Moulton Marsh

A police search has been launched for a woman in her 30s who was seen entering the sea near Moulton Marsh Nature Reserve.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue tweeted that they were alerted at 10.17am this morning (Wednesday, June 13) over “reports of a person entering the water at Moulton Marsh.”

Two specialist boat teams from Spalding and Boston are in attendance.

A Lincolnshire Police statement says: “We are at the Moulton Marsh Nature Reserve following a report of a concern for safety at 10.15am.

“Extensive searches are underway for woman in her 30s.

“These are being carried out by the NPAS police helicopter, a police drone and further air support from the coastguard agency.”
