Saturday football: Spalding United beaten at home as both Tigers and Knights see games postponed

Spalding United suffered a 1-0 defeat against Frickley Athletic in the only non-league game to beat the weather on Saturday.

A second-half winner from Phil Watt settled the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field clash and keeps the Tulips in 16th place in Evo-Stik NPL East Division.

In the Future Lions UCL Premier Division, Holbeach United’s home date with Boston Town and Pinchbeck United’s game at Wellingborough Whitworth were both frozen off due to the snow.

In the ChromaSport PDFL, Moulton Harrox are ten points clear after seeing off Leverington Sports 2-0 and Sutton Bridge United lost 8-0 at Peterborough Sports Development.
