Pumping station open to public

On Friday and Saturday, the Pode Hole Pumping Station and Pinchbeck Engine Museum will be open to the public from 10am to 4pm as part of Heritage Open Days.

Welland and Deepings Internal Drainage Board open Pode Hole Pumping Station to the public just once a year.

At Pinchbeck Engine, the 1833 Beam Engine which powers the wooden Scoop wheel pump will be demonstrated.

There is also a collection of tools and artefacts associated with the history of land drainage.

Both sites have car parking, Pinchbeck Engine has a picnic area and tea and coffee available. Entrance to both sites is free.
