Pub regulars tee off for charity

A pub’s golf day saw them downing puts rather than pints recently and helped net £2,130 for charity.

Regulars at The Lincoln Arms in Spalding put on the charity tournament recently at Gedney Hill Golf Club.

The competition was won by Eddie Rhodes.

Organiser Nigel Burrell said: “I’m overwhelmed with the support and the amount raised.

“I would like to thank everyone involved with a special mention to Charlie Britton at Gedney Hill and the Lincoln Arms’ landlady Mandy Stancer for providing refreshments and a free barbecue at the 19th hole.

“Everybody had a great day raising money for a great cause.”
