Proms night hits the right note

The flags were flying high at The Elizabethan Social Club on Saturday as it held a special Last Night of the Proms.

The Holbeach Town Band serenaded everyone and there was also some excellent solo songs from Sharon Bingham at the Whaplode Drove venue.

The hall was decorated in red, white and blue while everyone was supplied with hats and flags and food was also served during the evening.

David Barfoot, the vice chair of the Elizabethan Social Club and event organiser, said: “Everyone had a great time.

“Thank you to everyone who helped to make it a successful evening.”
