Poor start costs Knights

Pinchbeck United failed to recover from a poor start as they lost at Belper United on Saturday.
The Knights found themselves 2-0 down after just nine minutes.
They did battle back with Andre Williams halving the deficit only for Belper to restore the two-goal advantage on 24 minutes.
Pinchbeck did have their chances throughout the game, but Spafford’s late goal to make it 3-2 came too little too late.
The Knights have two home games next week hosting Mansfield on Saturday and Anstey Nomads on Wednesday.
Knights: Smith, Stevens (Millar), Jaine, Dilley, Sherrif, Robson, Spafford, Melson (Henderson), Williams, Johnson (Vieira), Foster. Sub not used: Wilkinson.
Attendance: 71
