Police investigate woman’s death in West Pinchbeck

UPDATE Tuesday: Police continue to investigate the circumstances of a woman’s death in West Pinchbeck. 

A police spokesman said: “A post mortem examination has taken place but further forensic tests are ongoing and will take some weeks to complete.”

The scene guard has been lifted at the address but enquiries remain ongoing and the death continues to be treated as unexplained in the meantime.

 

 

Police are investigating the death of 47-year-old woman in West Pinchbeck over the weekend.

Officers were called to Elizabeth Crescent at 4.28pm on Sunday, where paramedics were treating the woman for head injuries.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post mortem examination will take place later today (Monday) and a scene guard is in place at the address.
