Police appeal after serious injury on A16

Lincolnshire Police have appealed for witnesses and people with dashcam footage after an early-morning collision on the A16 which left one person seriously injured and the road closed well into the afternoon.

A Police statement said: “We are appealing for witnesses, especially those with dash-cam footage, following a collision on the A16 at Cowbit this morning (19/06).

“At 6:02am officers were called to the A16 between the Applegreen roundabout and Cowbit roundabout following a collision involving a Ford Focus and a HGV.

“One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
