Pie and mash night in Long Sutton is looking tasty

A taste of London’s East End is coming to a Long Sutton next week.

Market Place café Delicious is having a pie and mash night on Wednesday (March 16), inspired by staff member and former Londoner Donna Collis.
It will be the third such event which business owner Stephanie Ferguson has put on and all have been a hit – with the vast majority of customers being ex-Londoners.
She said: “They love it but what I’d say to others is come and try it.
“I developed my recipe with chef Nick Maguire who appeared on Saturday Kitchen and won an award for his recipe although mine is a little different.”

The event is pre-book only as the beef pies are made fresh on the day. Mash and parsley liquor make up the tasty treat and customers can use the takeaway option or eat in at £7.95 each.
Delicious was used as a venue for some of the scenes in South Holland movie Dishonoured, and Stephanie was a cast member.
