Tydd edged out Holbeach United Reserves 2-1 in Saturday’s ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division derby at the Fenland Stadium.
Goals from Jordan Bailey-Smith and Joe Reed secured all three points for the hosts, with Louis Steadman netting for the Tigers.
There was something of a goal-fest at London Road, as Long Sutton Athletic drew 3-3 with basement side Peterborough Polonia.
However, fellow top tier outfit Sutton Bridge United suffered a 3-0 home reverse against defending champions Netherton United – who moved to within four points of table-topping Moulton Harrox.
In Division One, Crowland Town saw off Stamford Belvedere 4-2 thanks to strikes from Corban Oldham (2), Juliano Resta and Stephen Wells.
Moulton Harrox Reserves also stormed to a 5-2 success over FC Peterborough as Chris Beale (2), Danny Maddison (2) and Tom Elderkin all found the net.
Fellow second tier outfit Spalding Town won well too, as they dispatched Kings Cliffe 6-0 in the PFA Challenge Cup.
Alex Lyon (2), Ben Allen, Robbie Cundy, Matt Rose and Ash Wilson scored.
