Moulton Harrox remain in the hunt for third place in the ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division after beating Oakham United 3-1 on Saturday.
Goals from Callum Davies (2) and Declan Earth steered Bobby Patterson and Tim Cole’s side to all three points at Broad Lane, moving them to within eight points of third-placed Oundle with three games in hand on them.
Harrox were are in action at home to Leverington Sports on Wednesday night.
In Division One Tydd are up to second after seeing off Wisbech Town Reserves 4-1. Matt Eaton’s treble and a Kyle Davis strike did the job for the high-fliers, who face a battle with FC Peterborough for the runners-up spot.
The city side remain hot on their heels after beating Crowland Reserves 5-0.
Also in Division One, Pinchbeck Reserves edged out Whittlesey Reserves 4-3 in a cracker.
Down in Division Two, Holbeach Sports were humbled 7-0 at home against Peterborough City.
Long Sutton Reserves fared better as they drew 1-1 with Orton Rangers as Jack Dicker found the net.
Elsewhere, Holbeach Bank suffered a 1-0 home reverse against Deeping United A in Division Five B.
