PDFL round-up: Gr-eight victory keeps Moulton Harrox top of the Premier Division

Marvellous Moulton Harrox extended their perfect start to the ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division season with a battling 3-2 win at Peterborough Polonia on Saturday.

Goals from Ian Bradbury, Declan Earth and an Ashley Coddington winner made it eight wins from as many games for Harrox, who sit top of the table.

Szymon Trusilo and Michal Rusin looked to have earned Polonia a point, but Moulton march on.

Also on winning form in the top flight were Tydd, who tamed Langtoft United 2-0.

Kevin Smith and Chris Ward got the goals at the Fenland Stadium.

There was also another three points for improving Long Sutton Athletic, who picked up a 3-2 success at Ketton.

Connor Bell (2) and Eric Makate netted for the Magpies in what was their first away win of the season.

However, Holbeach United Reserves went down 3-0 at home to Netherton United and Sutton Bridge United suffered a 2-1 reverse against Peterborough Sports Development.

Master marksman Matt Eaton was the sole Bridge scorer.

Down in Division One, a double from substitute Matthew Smith helped steer Crowland Town to a 3-1 victory at Whittlesey Athletic Reserves.
Simon Acton got the other goal.

There was also a 3-0 victory for Spalding Town over Oakham United Reserves, their second win of the season.

Down in Division Two, it was another tough afternoon for Spalding Athletic. They went down 7-0 at home to Eunice Huntingdon and have now lost all three of their games so far.

In Division Three, Holbeach Bank were walloped 7-1 at home by Oundle Town Reserves, while Long Sutton Athletic were beaten 2-1 at home to Peterborough NECI.

The losing trend continued in Division Five, with Holbeach Sports going down 3-2 at home to Glinton and Northborough and Tydd Reserves thumped 5-0 at home by Ramsey Town.
