A former Spalding Golf Club professional and a current club member came out on top at the annual Lincolnshire Open.
It was played at Spalding Golf Club and saw about 40 professional and amateur golfers from all parts of the county at the Lincolnshire Union of Golf Clubs
(LUGC)-organised event.
A two-round medal competition, played off scratch, on a very hot and humid day was run by LUGC competition secretary Tony Hills.
The overall winner and top professional was Adam Keogh, from Woodhall Spa, and the former pro at Spalding, with an impressive nine-under-par score for the two rounds.
Second professional on seven under par was David Coupland, also from Woodhall Spa.
Winner of the top amateur trophy, on six under par, was home club member James Crampton, with Levi Desmond, from Sleaford, second and Spalding’s Simon Richardson third.
Trophies were presented by LUGC president Paul Morrison.
