New play area in Pinchbeck

New play equipment has been officially opened in Pinchbeck.

The parish council has organised the new features at Rotten Row Playing Field

Its chairman James Avery took the opportunity to mention all of the groups, individuals, local companies and primary school age children who had all helped by making donations towards the cost of the new play facilities.

Two children Amelia Todd and Will Barnsdale won a competition with the prize being the privilege of cutting the ribbon.

Council clerk Barbara Camps said: “There was a good crowd attending and everyone was enjoying the hot weather.

“With the generosity and support of the Pinchbeck Spar, ice lollies were handed out to everyone on the field. It was Pinchbeck at its best!”
