Moulton woman accused of stealing bank card and withdrawing cash

A woman accused of fraudulently using a bank card belonging to a Spalding pensioner has appeared at Lincoln Crown Court.

Maria Pridmore (35) is charged with the theft of a bank card belonging to Angela Bird on May 28, this year.

Pridmore, of West Cobgate, Moulton, also faces two charges of fraud by false representation.

It is alleged Pridmore used the bank card and PIN to obtain £250 from an ATM cash machine on May 28, 2015.

Pridmore is then alleged to have used the bank card and PIN to obtain £300 from an ATM cash machine on May 29, 2015.

No pleas were entered and Pridmore spoke only to confirm her name during the five minute preliminary hearing at Lincoln Crown Court.

The case was adjourned for a plea and case management hearing at Lincoln Crown Court in November.

Pridmore was granted bail on condition that she does not contact Mrs Bird or go to Woolram Wygate in Spalding.
