Moulton set for annual harvest gala

Moulton Harvest Weekend will see a host of entertainment in the village this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15).
The annual parade of vehicles will set off at 1.30pm and head to the main festivities at the working field on Austendyke Road, opposite Myers Farm.
That’s open from 10am to 4pm both days and all weekend there will be refreshments, ice cream van, charity stalls, vehicle displays, stalls, games, tractor and trailer rides, radio controlled construction vehicles, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Car, Spalding Flower Queen and Deputy Flower Queen.
Also on Saturday there will be over 30 craft stalls and live music from Phil Wiggins at the community centre and village hall.
Sunday’s entertainment will include the Spalding Community Choir and Retrospekt on the working field.
A free shuttle bus will be on hand to transport people from the village to the field.
The Harvest Raffle will be drawn at 4pm on the Sunday with a first prize of £100, second of £50 and third of £25.
