Donation for play equipment

Holbeach’s William Stukeley Primary School has been awarded £578 by Lincolnshire Co-op’s Community Champions scheme.

The school will use its funding to enhance their outdoor provision.

This work will benefit all pupils within the school, who will enjoy additional outdoor resources, which aid the development of physical and social skills and supports pupil wellbeing.

Peter Bellamy, executive headteacher, said: “We are extremely grateful for this generous donation. Our pupils will benefit from the equipment purchased for years to come.”

William Stukeley is one of 262 local groups to share £209,051.99, raised from September 2024 to March 2025.

The scheme combines the efforts of members, colleagues, and customers to raise money for local groups and good causes.

A donation is made each time a member shops with their dividend card, colleagues host fundraising events, and customers donate their spare change.
