Moulton falter as rivals stutter

Moulton Harrox failed to capitalise on the two sides below them dropping points as they lost by eight wickets at Bourne 2nd XI.
They remain third in the South Lincs and Border League Premier Division after a crucial toss went against them on Saturday.
They were put in and struggled to score in a game reduced to 40 overs a side.
Chris Beale was able to hit 52 not out to help his side to post 117 for 6 from their overs.
Tom Patchett was the pick of the Bourne bowlers taking 2 for 13 from eight overs.
Harry Lovell responded with the ball for Moulton taking 2 for 29, but Bourne took just more than 22 overs to take the win, Richard Howitt hitting 57 not out for them and guiding them home.
Moulton are now fourth in the league and next up travel to Woodhall Spa on Saturday as they look to get into the top placings.
