Moulton come from behind against Tydd to go second

Moulton Harrox moved up to second in the ChromaSport Peterborough and District Football League with a 2-1 win over Tydd.

Jordan Clow had given bottom of the table Tydd a 28th minute lead they took into the second half.

But goals from Ian Bradbury and Billy King earned Moulton a win that lifts them into second, two points behind leaders Uppingham but with two games in hand.

There was a win too in the division for Holbeach United Reserves, Thomas Coote and Adam Jackson scoring in a 2-1 win at Oakham United.

Division One leaders Crowland Town extended their lead at the top of the division with a 3-1 win at Eunice Huntingdon thanks to goals from Danny Firth, Adam Samworth and sub Ethan Allen.

The lead is nine points over both Eye United and Cardea FC who won 5-3 against Moulton Harrox Reserves with Thomas Klinkovics scoring all five.

At the other end of the table, Spalding Town remain bottom after a 5-0 defeat.

Crowland Town’s Reserves moved up to second in Division Two by thrashing the previously second placed Netherton United Reserves 6-1 at home.

Jake Mason and Joe Strickland bagged doubles while Jordan Kirchin and Nathan Woodward also netted.

Unbeaten Holbeach United Sports keep flying at the top of Division Three after winning 3-1 at Premair Reserves via a Harry Burchnall brace and one from Joshua Ling.

Tydd Res picked up a 2-1 win at home to Uppingham Tn Res.

Holbeach Bank’s miserable season in Division Four continued as they were hammered 9-0 by Thurlby Tigers.

Long Sutton Athletic Reserves are out of the Peterborough Junior Cup after losing 3-1 at Thorpe Wood Rangers.
