Migrant worker caravans plan passed

Temporary caravans to house seasonal migrant workers have been approved.

E M Cole (Farms) Ltd in West Pinchbeck is to erect four mobile homes on the site.

The flower business’s James Cole told South Holland District Council Planning Committee that granted permission last week: “We can’t function without staff from overseas currently.

“We have tried recruiting locally but we can’t find local people for local jobs unfortunately.

“We have to have people from abroad and we need somewhere for them to live.”
