McManus next arts society guest

An artist who specialises on recreating the feel of the Fens was the guest at a local group’s recent event.

Local landscape artist and picture framer Nick Tearle gave Spalding Arts and Crafts Society an interesting oil painting demonstration of a Fen landscape at its most recent meeting.
A spokesman for the society said: “Nick said he now specialises in images of the Fens but they are not necessarily of a recognisable place, more a feel of the Fens.”
“Our next demonstration will be a Wet Street Scene in Watercolour by Ian McManus.”
That takes place on Tuesday, February 4, at Pinchbeck Village Hall on Knight St from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Admission is £3 for members £3 and £5 for visitors. Doors open at 7pm and tea and coffee is provided.
