Master proud as members of Spalding-based Lone Wolf Taekwondo grab medals aplenty

Spalding-based Lone Wolf Taekwondo came back with seven medals form the first British University Taekwondo League Open Invitational tournament.

The event, in Loughborough, brought together representatives from all of the different UK Federations. The guest of honour was Pioneer First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha, the father of British Taekwondo.

Master Robin Ford, the founder and chief instructor of Lone Wolf Taekwondo – based at The Vista – took ten students to compete in the tournament.

All did themselves and the club proud.

Winning gold on the day were Nikita Rudd (sparring) and Paul Linter (patterns), while both Karina Zokaite (sparring) and Geordie Potter (patterns) took silvers.

Bronze medals were won by Ethan Peldzius and Potter (sparring), a feat matched by Shakeel Taylor in patterns.

New students are always welcome at Lone Wolf Taekwondo and benefit from having the first month’s lessons free. Search for Master Ford’s Lone Wolf Taekwondo online or come along to The Vista in Spalding to find out more.
