A Spalding resident accused of a firearm offence has had his case sent to crown court.

Mindageas Stakele (25), of Albert Street, is charged with possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

The offence is alleged to have happened in Spalding between August 15 and August 18, 2019, and involved a BB handgun.

Stakele, who appeared before Boston Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, is also accused of assaulting the same person, causing actual bodily harm between the same dates.

He was released on conditional bail until his next scheduled appearance at Lincoln Crown Court on December 4.
