Man admits sending sexual message to girls (13)

A 58-year-old man has pleaded guilty to sending messages of a sexual nature to 13-year-old girls.

Roger Hicks admitted four counts of sending messages to two 13-year-old girls whom he did not reasonably believe to be over the age of 16 for sexual gratification.

He entered the pleas when appearing at Lincoln Magistrates Court on July 15.

The offences took place at Long Sutton between June 11 and 19 this year.

At the hearing the guilty plea was entered his address was given as HMP Lincoln.

Hicks has been committed to Lincoln Crown Court for sentencing at a date and time to be fixed in custody.
