South Holland cue ace Mick Johnson is celebrating after helping Lincolnshire secure a brilliant billiards victory.
Johnson, one of the top potters in the Spalding and District Billiards League, was part of a three-man team that won the Eastern Counties Billiards Championships at Cambridge.
Alongside Rob Hall (Lincoln) and Chris Taylor (Boston), Johnson helped Lincolnshire ‘A’ defeat sides from Norfolk and Cambridgeshire to lift the Division One championship.
- The new Spalding and District Snooker League season will get under way on August 25, with the final round being on April 27, 2017.
The Spalding and District Billiards League kicks off on September 5 and concludes on March 24.
