Lots of opportunities on offer at South Holland Jobs Fair

The annual South Holland Jobs Fair is in Spalding on Tuesday, April 26.

Visitors will have the chance to speak to over 30 employers and training providers from a range of industries who are currently recruiting in the district.
Representatives from several sectors including the food industry, care and training providers will be on hand to discuss current vacancies as well as offering information about a wide range of jobs. Visitors can get career advice and learn about the skills needed for different roles.

Helpful hints will also be offered to anyone who is thinking of starting their own business or looking to benefit from training and development opportunities.

This free event at the South Holland Centre (10am-2pm) is organised by South Holland District Council in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions.

Coun Nick Worth, portfolio holder for economic development, said: “The Jobs Fair has been running for six years now and is recognised as a very useful event – last year around 400 people attended.
“There will be a wealth of advice and information for anyone looking for work or who wants to learn more about different careers and opportunities.”
