Long Sutton Cricket Club are seeking new faces

Long Sutton Cricket Club would like to hear from anyone that is looking for a team for next season.

Sutton currently run two senior teams on a Saturday in the South Lincs and Border League’s Premier Division and Division One, while they also boast two Sunday sides that play in the Rutland League.

The club also have a thriving junior set-up, with sides from under-11 through to under-17, while they are also looking to enter an under-19 side into the ECB’s T20 competition.

Players of all ages and abilities are welcome throughout the age groups.

During the winter Sutton run senior nets at the University Academy Holbeach from 7pm-8.30pm every Monday, then every Thursday from Easter onwards outdoors at their Paradise Field base from 6pm-8pm.

Junior training is also at University Academy Holbeach on a Friday night (6pm-7.30pm), which will be indoors until Easter, and then outdoors thereafter.

Younger and new players are catered for on Tuesday nights, while Wednesday nights are squad training.

Sutton are also running a ladies’ team this season. Training and taster sessions are held at the Peele Leisure Centre on a Tuesday (8pm-9pm).
