Long Sutton trap shooter Aaron Heading will be aiming for gold at the second-ever European Games in June.
Heading, who is a former Commonwealth Games gold medallist, has been selected as part of the Team GB squad.
He will be hoping to top the podium in the Olympic Trap shotgun category in Minks, the capital of Belarus, from June 21-30.
Heading, who is hoping to be a part of the British team at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, claimed top spot in the ISSF rankings after bringing back a gold medal from the World Cup in Malta last summer.
He has also competed in three Commonwealth Games and runs the Sutton Bridge-based Priory Clay Target Centre with his with Natasha.
British Shooting performance director Steven Seligmann said: “We are very pleased to announce a strong shooting team that will represent Team GB across all disciplines – rifle, pistol, and shotgun – at the second European Games.”
